What this site is

TaxSaleDecoded provides general information about property-tax sales, redemption rights, and surplus (excess-proceeds) claims in the United States, including a free deadline checker that applies published state rules to dates you enter. The site and the kit are information products. We are not a law firm, and nothing here is legal advice or creates an attorney–client relationship.

What we never do

We do not file claims, petitions, or redemption payments for anyone. We do not act as a surplus-recovery agent, finder, or assignee, and we never take a percentage of any money a visitor claims. Any person claiming to act for TaxSaleDecoded in that way is not authorized by us.

Accuracy

State pages carry statute citations and a 'law checked' date, and unverified figures are flagged on the page. Tax-sale law changes — Illinois rewrote its system in 2026, Oregon in 2025 — and county figures change as interest accrues. Deadlines computed by the checker apply the rule as published to the date you enter; the controlling figure and date are always the ones in the records of the county office named on the state page. Verify before you rely, especially near a deadline.

The kit

The TaxSaleDecoded Kit is a one-time purchase of $49, delivered as a web page. It contains no subscription and renews nothing.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CLEARDEAL LLC is not liable for losses arising from reliance on information here, including missed deadlines. Property-tax losses are time-sensitive and fact-specific; contested matters belong with a licensed real-estate attorney in your state.
